How to Host a Stress-Free Holiday Party!

Its finally that time of year where we come together with our friends and family and celebrate the wonderful Holidays. Out of all of the different things you can do during the Holidays my favorite is hosting parties. Growing up with a huge family who celebrates every single Holiday, Birthday, Day of year even... Parties are HUGE! However along with parties comes stress... lots and lots of stress. Having the house cleaned, decorated, invitations, games, and most importantly FOOD. Between all of these things its so easy to become stressed and not enjoy the fun of the party itself. One trick my mom taught me was to simplify but make it look like you didn't... 

My go to for the perfect dish for any occasion is Stella Blue Cheese. Stella Cheese's are the perfect topping for any treat, loaded potatoes, salads, pastas, etc. One of my friends favorites that I bring to parties is the Stella Blue Cheese appetizer. I love using their blue cheese as a topping on so many different appetizers, and their super easy and quick to make.

Its not fun! 1 cube = 1tsp. It makes cooking so nice because your not having to worry about all of the prep!       Hey guys I'm so excited to share something exciting with you all today. So today I'm not just talking to the mothers out there but to the aunts, the grandmas, and really just anyone who loves children. I am a proud aunt who goes by (Macmac) to four soon to be five precious nieces and nephews. My nieces and nephews (aka my children) mean the world to me. I think of them all as though they were my own. One thing I've learned over the past four years is how special children really are, and how much they truly depend on you an adult to help them grow. From the very second they're born they are watching, listening, and doing, what they see and hear. It's so important for babies to develop well over the first few years of life because of their brain growth, their motor skills, etc... But they can't do this alone.

      Gerber is a company that has been around for years, and who's main goal is the healthy development of our children. Gerber has provided us with numerous products but my favorite and my niece's, whom ill be talking about today, favorite is Gerber Lil Beanies. My niece is absolutely obsessed with these things, she would eat the entire can if I let her! Her favorite two flavors are both the "Original" and the "White Cheddar & Broccoli". Are you not a morning person? 

Neither am I, I have the hardest time getting up early and being productive. Not to mention with being a college student its so difficult to make those 8 a.m.'s, and listen to those long drawn out lectures. 

If you're like me, you need a morning booster, I start off my day with Nature Valley Cereal. It powers my day and gives me the boost I need to be productive. Nature Valley Cereal has so many flavors but I am so excited about their three newest flavors, Honey Oat Clusters, Chocolate Oat Clusters, and Baked Oat Bites. The chocolate oat clusters and baked oat bites are my absolute favorite. I am a huge cereal lover, and I must say out of all the cereals that Ive had these are by far the most flavorful and delicious cereals.

After I start off my day with Nature Valley Cereal, I'm ready for my early morning 8 a.m.'s, and long drawn out lectures. I even might go for a run or go hiking. I use Nature Valley to power my mornings and power my days.

Let's start decorating.

Being in college its so important to have a room that reflects your personality.  Your personality can be reflected through the small detail of a room.  It can be something as simple as a color, a decoration, or a light. This one thing can make your personality shine all throughout your room, dorm, or house. I am always encouraging others to let their personality shine wherever they are.  

So lets talk.

Does your home or room reflect you? Does it not? Do you want it to? Well lets do this. Get up right now and walk around and find one thing that reflects you. Go on. Did you find something? Now ask yourself: How do you use this item in your home to make your personality shine? 

I want to challenge you to really put some thought into this, this week try and find that one item. It can be anything.

I use this every night right before I go to sleep, I prefer to roll it on the bottom of my feet opposed to the back of my neck.  I prefer that due to my long hair, my boyfriend however ( who also LOVES this) prefers it on his neck. I have noticed that it causes me to be more relaxed as I sleep and gives me better rest.
