Day at the Pool

Im dreading the fact that summer is coming to an end, yet excited to be back in my beautiful Auburn. One thing ill miss most are days like these, my cousin invited me to go with her to a pool downtown at a hotel. The pool is on the roof of the  hotel so you get to enjoy the beautiful view surrounding you.  We had so much fun giggling like little children, its days like this I won't forget.

Meeting the Grandparents

I have been in a relationship with my man for almost nine months and he has met almost everyone except one set of grandparents.  This summer we got the chance to ride down to Florida so that he could meet them, good news... They LOVED him! We had a great time down there going to the beach and eating lots and lots of eating. My sister and her family were also there visiting so I got to spend time with my adorable niece and nephew.

Summer Break?

Summer Break?
Okay I just gotta tell you, this is a much needed break! This semester was tough, like insanely tough! After almost failing all of my classes and still having no clue what I got out of any of my classes... I AM TIRED. The semester completely overwhelmed my life, which meant no friends, no blogging, just school... I tried to keep up with social things but the blogging had to stop for a while.

After a management teacher who only taught about becoming a feminist, a macro teacher who said no book or slides just notes... (This cannot be done by the way) a marketing teacher who tested on different material than what he taught, and finally one amazing teacher... I needed a break.

My summer goals: Make a great nanny (I so far have the best two boys ever), Catch up on blogging again, and enjoy life.

How to Take a Break on the Weekends!

How to Take a Break on the Weekends:

Hey y'all!
So I've been super busy this semester with school and trying to stay on top of things. So busy that I go a week without blogging very often now :O. So I'm trying to catch up a little bit with life by taking breaks when and where ever I can find time to....

Thankfully my amazing college has different events scheduled every week for free! The latest one I was apart of was a free concert. Lil' Jon, Rae Sremmurd, and Natalie La Rose all preformed. Not to mention our mascot Aubie got up and danced.

It was the break I needed and I encourage you that when your feeling overwhelmed to just stop for a minute and take a break. Go do something fun with a good friend, and let your hair down.

Have a great break!

Reasons to be Active!

Reasons to be Active:

No matter what your age or physical shape, there is rarely a reason to NOT go outside. Ill be honest, I went through a phase where I wasn't a fan of going outside and being active.  Luckily I got out of that phase when I came to college.
Here is what helped me... First off here in Auburn there are so many great parks that each serve a different purpose. One is great to take your dogs to play, another is more private and has more of a garden feel, and the other is a state park with hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, creeks, ponds, etc.
Not to mention we have a beautiful campus that has places to play football, soccer, disc golf, frisbee, baseball, basketball, etc.
When it comes to Auburn, you really do not a reason to stay inside and do nothing.
So why do it? Why get out? Why be active?
Well, heres the obvious answer... its healthy for you...-__- #boring
Its fun!
Use your eno!
Builds relationships!
A learning experience!
Watch yourself progress!
Show off your cute new water bottle!
My favorite is facing my fears of heights!
An excuse to wear those workout clothes you don't use!
Are you ready to be active yet?

A Christmas Carol!

A Christmas Carol:
Last night I went with my grandparents and parents to see the play "A Christmas Carol".  We love the Holiday Season and when I'm home we immediately get started decorating and enjoying the festivities.

They had everything decorated so pretty inside.  The play was at (ASF) Alabama Shakespeare Festival.  ASF always puts on the best  plays that are good for both adults and children!

They had this adorable lady with her stand selling homemade popcorn of all different flavors.

They had this station set up for the kiddos to write letters to Santa. Overall it was an amazing night and the play was so enjoyable. The time spent with my grandparents was very nice to, I don't see them very often so when I do it is so nice!

Merry Christmas!

A trip to The Pumpkin Patch

A trip to the pumpkin patch:
So like every parent, I wanted to take my baby girl to her first ever pumpkin patch.  However unlike most parents Im talking about my dog Maggie.  It was her first time ever to go to the pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin. So heres our day!

First we scoped out the pumpkins.

Then we measured ourselves! Yay we passed the first mark!

Then we played with a couple of animals...

Grandma came to!

Maggie played in a corn patch with the other children.

Posed on a hay bell

And finally picked our pumpkin!

Happy fall Y'all!
Hope you Enjoyed!
