Birthday in Nashville

Today I want to share some photos of the weekend I just spent in Nashville celebrating my best friends 21st Birthday.  We have been best friends since we were three years old and I am so thankful for her and her impact on my life. We got to stay at her brothers beautiful home and spend the day in Nashville. It was a wonderful weekend with her and two other beautiful ladies and most importantly our Lord and Savior.

Perfect Gift for Anyone DIY

So for my friends birthday I decided to make her something. We have been friends for 18 years so since we were three. We've spent most of our birthdays together over the years and I love that even though we live in different cities we still spend them together. My friend Gabbie and I met at our brothers baseball game and became instant friends. I only have a handful of people that I can say that I'm still best friends with since being a child and I'm so blessed that she is one of them. For her birthday I went to Hobby Lobby and bought her a wood box that spins. On all four sides I placed a picture of us at a different age. I painted and antiqued the box and then hot glued a flower on the lid. On the inside I printed out Bible Verses and put them in there.

A Birthday to Remember

So my moms Birthday is right after the fourth... like literally the fifth haha and this year just seemed like such a blast. To celebrate my amazing mom my grandparents took us all out to a nice restaurant were I had them bring her out a delicious dessert. Afterwards we went home were I had decorated with the help of my sister and boyfriend. We sang, ate cake, and watched as she (my nephew) opened all of the presents. My mother deserves a whole lot more than we could ever give her, she is the strength behind our family and what holds us together. We've had a tough last year but because of my mom you would never know that. I can't wait to grow up and be the mother she is.

My First Fourth with You

What a great fourth we had this year, every year my family and I get together to remember those who lost their lives and spend time with our grandfather who risked his. This year was the first year I got to spend the fourth with a special someone. It was so much fun having him join in in the family traditions. We start off the day at the Pike road Parade at my grandparents house then head over to ours for a swim and always end the day with fireworks out at the Waters.
